    Special invitation to Young People

Young people are particularly welcome to participate in the 50th International Eucharistic Congress Youth Space, which will host the Programme "Go! Be Church", specially prepared for young adults between 17 and 25 years of age. Come and participate in this event with workshops, dramas, interactive catechesis, concerts, social activities, games, art, fun and much more! Book for the Congress online www.iec2012.ie/registration or phone our Booking offices on 01 2981122. Advance bookings are open until the 9th of May 2012. After that date all bookings are onsite at the RDS during the week of the Congress. Book now!

  50th International Eucharistic Congress 2012

Sunday 17th June 2012

Final celebration in Croke Park, Dublin

There are some booking forms left in the Diocese for Sunday 17th June.

Cost €10. Over 900 from the diocese are already booked in for this day.

A train will travel from Midleton to Dublin Connolly Station. Cost €35. Booking will be on line www.irisrail.ie or through the Office in Kent Station in Cork or phone (021) 450-6766. First booking of the train are assured of a place.

Join the Diocese in taking part in the Congress for a day. Various talks, testimonies, catechises, Mass and Eucharistic Procession will take place on this day.

BE PART OF IT. A good number of people from all over the diocese have already been booked in.

 50th International Eucharistic Congress 2012

Dublin, Ireland

Take part in this unique celebration of Catholic Faith.

This is a historical occasion, one that does not come around very often.

The last Eucharistic Congress to take place in Ireland was in 1932.

COST FOR THIS ONE DAY REGISTRATION

Single day tickets €30: €28 (OAP, Concession):

€25 (Child): €95 (Family, 2 adults + up to 4 children)

This price does not include the cost of transport to get to the RDS or food.

Information on transport will become available shortly.

Final celebration of the Eucharistic Congress: Croke Park, Dublin

The Diocese of Cloyne has been allocated 1,000 tickets for this event.

These tickets will be distributed to parishes on a percentage basis of population.

The Parish of Cobh has been allocated 85 tickets.

                   50th International Eucharistic Congress Prayer

Lord Jesus,

You were sent by the Father

to gather together those who are scattered.

You came among us, doing good

and bringing healing,

announcing the Word of salvation

and giving the Bread which lasts forever.

Be our companion on life's pilgrim way.

May your Holy Spirit inflame our hearts,

enliven our hope and open our minds,

so that together with our sisters and brothers in faith

we may recognise you in the Scriptures

and in the breaking of bread.

May your Holy Spirit transform us into one body

and lead us to walk humbly on the earth,

in justice and love,

as witnesses of your resurrection.

In communion with Mary,

whom you gave to us as our Mother

at the foot of the cross, through you

may all praise, honour and blessing be to the Father

in the Holy Spirit and in the Church,

now and forever. Amen
